Do you want to participate in an outdoor activity? We offer a wide range of canyoning and via-ferrata routes to meet all your expectations!
For you, our guides have gone in search of the most beautiful routes in the region. They have selected them for all tastes and all levels. Beginners, sportsmen or confirmed, you will inevitably find the via-ferrata or the descent in canyon which corresponds to you!
Whatever the routes, our state-certified guides offer you group supervision of up to 10 people for better learning. Are you 14? Do not worry, we do not separate you. Two Alteo guides will intervene simultaneously for your safety.
You just have to choose between our 9 canyons and our 4 via-ferrata!
Initiation to canyoning and via ferrata
For children and beginners
With friends or family, we do not always have the same desires or the same skills.
Selecting a route that is too difficult is not conducive to the group's good progress. Thus, for a family composed of 4 people with 2 children between 7 and 15 years of age for example, we suggest more fun and accessible routes in order to fully enjoy the activity in joy and good humor.
Similarly for a first experience, prefer an initiation course. Once your skills have been validated, you can return to perform a higher level activity.
The ideal canyoning course for families: Discover the initiation canyoning course in the ideal Hérault, very aquatic with many jumps, in St Guilhem-Le-Désert.
We also have a canyoning outing for beginners in the Gard at the canyon of Soucy.
On these two activities, all obstacles are avoidable. You can very well bypass them if you do not feel able to face them.
The ideal via-ferrata route for families is the via ferrata of Thaurac.

Go beyond your limits
You are going to perform an activity between confirmed athletes. You will appreciate the multiple series of workshops on the courses by braving the difficulties.
We offer several level courses that you can select according to your desires to perform jumps, slides or abseils.
Each course has its specificity. However, our guides recommend some essential routes:
The canyoning route for athletes: Tapoul Canyoning, the most sporty but also the most exotic. If you are enduring and favorable to the effort, then you will be conquered by the via ferrata of Saint-Sériès or our via ferrata in Lozère.

Since its inception, Alteo Nature has been founded on the values of sharing, adaptability, kindness and commitment. These small groups also allow us to fight against the effects of an overcrowded passage and thus preserve the environment.

Our two co-managing directors, Julien Nicolas and Cédric Vaubaillon, are at the origin of the climbing enthusiasts graduated with a STAPS license. They then specialize in order to obtain their State Canyoning and Climbing diploma.
This state patent guarantees their holders to master all the techniques necessary for the practice of canyoning and via ferrata. It also provides them with the ability to safely supervise groups.
Our credo is to make you discover the unusual of our regions and share our know-how. Thanks to your enthusiasm for these outdoor activities, we have been expanding our team for 2 years and you can find this summer: Gaétan and Julien.
We are also proud to be part of the founding members of the Let’s Gorges association, a group of professionals from the Hérault valley working to protect and protect the environment.
Your canyoning and via ferrata outings in complete safety
Standards and controlled equipment
Safety is a fundamental element in the supervision of outdoor activities.
In order to ensure the proper conformity of the necessary equipment, we will provide you with all the routes, whether via via ferrata, canyoning or climbing, the necessary safety equipment: safety harness and carabiners, lanyards, helmet, as well as '' a 5 mm neoprene suit for canyoning.
Our equipment is checked and checked periodically by our authorized instructors. Any doubt about the material, leads to its withdrawal.
